AB  - Modern development of rehabilitation is guided by humanistic ideas. The problem is that many specialists cannot define the term "humanism" itself.This article analyses the concept in terms of its application in the rehabilitation practice. Two aspects of humanism are distinguished. The first one refers to the perception of the disabled and the other concerns humanization of the rehabilitation process.
